Cave Mountain Picture Jasper Cabochon ITEM # cmpjc2. This is another one of the more rare picture jaspers that was mined in the Owyhee Mountains of south eastern Oregon, back in the early 1970s. The old mines have never been dug again since then. This cab is scenic, with a dark shade of blue-grey sky. Nice detailed landscape of brown color shades below. It has a high gloss polish front to back and measures about 22.8 x 17.9 mm and is 4.9 mm thick. One of the pictures also has an American Quarter (25 cents) to help show to the size.
