Idaho Candy Agate Cabochon CAC1

Idaho Candy Agate Cabochon CAC1 … Rare and COOL looking cabochon from a remote area of southwestern Idaho. Well, cut with a fantastic polish front to back !! Measures approx.  40 x 23 mm. Handcrafted one of a kind gem by Service Station Gems in Marsing, Idaho.

Idaho Candy Agate Cabochon CAC1. This gemstone is sort of rare .. not very much of it was ever mined. It comes from southwestern Idaho. Some of this material is closer to an opal than it is an agate.  Dark maroon red plume over an off-white or cream colored background with a bit of brighter white to the left lower side. It is polished to a very high gloss on the front and sides, the back side is polished also. It measures about 39.6 x 23.4 mm by 4.7 mm thick. It looks really nicer in person than my pictures show. I have an American Quarter (25 cents) coin in one of the pictures to help you understand the size.
